I'm a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences at MIT, advised by Prof. Susan Solomon. My research focuses on stratospheric chemistry — understanding when and how human activities have altered the ozone layer, the long-term fate of organic aerosols in the stratosphere, and the photochemistry of reactive nitrogen.
I combine climate model simulations (CESM-WACCM6, CCMI), satellite observations (MIPAS, OMPS), airborne campaign observations, and statistical signal detection methods to link stratospheric changes to their human and natural causes.
